sorry to ask so many questions. I just dont want to drop my whole paycheck on something I couldn't use. I was able to find a t56 from a 2002 trans am which im told is identical to the camaro (makes sense they are both f-bodies) my questions is if the camaro/TA t56 wont handle shifting at higher rpms like the gto tranny can I have it rebuilt with the tripple syncros or will i just have to toss it and find a gto tranny?
also i called exedy and its looking like a no go for a 26 spline hub for a twin carbon disc. they told me they produce one for a tripple but no twin discs.

To upgrade to tripple synchros you have a couple options
Buy a used corvette or cts-v tranny and gto output shaft install the internals in the camaro case. You can either gearset from the Corvette (2.66 or 2.99)
to update it further you can use a SSR output shaft and need to do some machine work.
