sub frame hitting wheels

Anyone have trouble with the wheels hitting the 20b subframe? How do you know what wheels will clear the interference?

I'm pretty sure it is a Pettit. I put my stock FD wheels back on it and when the subframe was put in, they hit. I tried to put my 17 " wheels on and they have a bit of a rim on the inside and they hit also. I think I will have to go with 18" wheels or 17's that are made just a little different.

yea, that can't be a Pettit... I have a copy of the Pettit and my stock wheels fit on and don't come anywhere near the subframe. Take some pictures.

I have the same subframe from rx7b specialtes, it will not work with the stock wheels, Apparenlty it will with 17's.

I have 18's and it works fine
