20b or 13b/12a ?

12a/13b with the motor suspended (via milk crate, engine stand adapter plate etc.) you lift the e-shaft about 1" and then lift and wiggle the center plate past it, make sure not to scratch the bearings.

20b use the special tool to seperate the front portion of the e-shaft, once you have it off the center adapter plate comes off. form there you trteat it like a 13b/12a.

i think scallywag (sp?) made a few of these tools, maybe u can PM him... the eshaft is a 2pc design and its held in by the taper of the 2 pcs fitting into one another..i know some guys got it seperated a few times using some 2x4 wood..if u cant buy the tool from one of these guys and not in the mood to make one then PM "Spanner", he used the wood method with success..i tried looking for a pic of the tool, but i must of deleted it from the PC

Ok i got a PM about this, so for future reference if anyone else wonders, the journal for the front bearing slides onto the shaft with a key. to get it off, screw the nut back onto the front of the eshaft a few threads, and simply pull on the front bearing journal and tap the nut with a hammer. The journal should pop right off.
