Stock Turbo Downpipe Upgrade.

I had a downpipe fabbed to replace the existing one that seemed very restrictive;

Here is the new one;

Trying to get a feeler to see if anyone might be intrested in my producing them.

I got an additional 3 pounds of of boost just by adding this downpipe.

1. Can you insert a ruler for reference
2. Can you give a ballpark price that you want to stay near?
3. Will you surrender to OEM part?
4. How much room is available for deviation?
5. Would you be willing to buy 10?

The downpipe is made to have the exact length of the stock one. It only goes out further away from the engine block due to the radius as it comes out and away from the turbos, but it still had enough space to reinstall the sock heat shield between the frame and downpipe radius with just a slight cut to the shield just below the O2 sensor location. The water outlet on the rear turbo is the only fittament issue, but I am currently working on some sort of water line reroute kit which will be included. With the water mod I am thinking it will be between the 100 to 200 range. As for ten, I'll have to see how much the water line modification works out to pin the price down.

Thanks for the intrest.

that looks really nice! you may want to consider making the bottom flange something more available, like the RB 3" flange or something. the cosmo flange has an odd spacing. or actually make including another dp to midpipe flange an option.

Thanks, the flanges on the downside are actualy 3" see below,

A standard 3" should bolt up to this to your midpipe/muffler.

if your 3" flange is the same as the cosmo flange then it won't. the spacing is weird on the cosmo part. if yours has a different spacing than the cosmo part then, never mind

I'm a little confused. You are talking about the two bolt flange right? If so they are the same. the only difference is that the Inner Diameter on this new one is a 3" ID vs. the stock one that is a 2.25" the bolt locations on the flange are exactly the same also. Now if you mean the position of the flange itself, that too is the same as the sock downpipe, to fab this we made a jig using the stock one as a referance, then bolted up the flanges to jig and then fitted/welded the 3" pipe to the flanges.

Let me know if this is what you mean.

What j9fd3s meant is that the exhaust side flange's bolt holes' spacing is weird, not the flange itself. The bolt holes are spaced wider than the FC and FD's exhaust. I've run into the same issue with my build since I'm using the stock 20b downpipe as well. The only solution I've come across is to use a universal 2.5" flange with slotted holes that a buddy found on ebay. If you'd consider offering the exhaust side flange for sale, I'd be interested in one for 2.5" OD exhaust tube. Also, something you should really do is offer a matching gasket for this flange too. I could use one

MAJOR PROPS for improving on the stock part's weakness.
