rotor weights?

Hey guys,

I just noticed that in the mazdacomp tech section it lists 20B rotors as being significantly lighter than 13b ones. I know many people run 13b rotors, what do you all do about balancing?

20B and S5 T2 rotors are from the same parts bin. Same weight, same compression etc.

i think they are wrong, because i looked at it again, and it only lists one weight for 13b, and we all know that's not true...

ok, this has been explained to me that the weights listed on mazdacomp are the factory competition rotors, which are lighter weight and require balancing the rotating assy. makes sense to me.

eating! um the mazdacomp lists the 20b race engine as a 20b and the 20b cosmo engine as a 20b.

the cosmo engine rotors are the same part number as the 89-91 turbo 2

the race motor has the lighter ones.

race motors part numbers are mostly ZR01-something, whilst the cosmo is NF01

the race engine was sold as a "kit" in japan, its a 3 rotor PP engine, with slide throttle efi (comes with ecu and ignition) 450hp@9000
