i inherited a 20b and was told it was a race engine but not what kind of race
i got it with a t88 and my father told me it puts out about 650hp 630 ftlbs of trq
and that it was mega-ported
and i think he even said it was perifrial ported (not too sure).
well anyway this was supposedly built by pineapple and i was wondering,
what would be a good redline without being too conservative
i dont know the boost or any of that yet but it's carb
i am just trying to get a sense for what it might do
but i am going to take it to rob as soon as i can

pleas keep in mind i am new to rotory engines

 

I would just call rob and see if he keeps track of engines he builds by serial number. If its p-port the intake manifold will be custom, and only have 3 intake tracks.

That motor scares me btw....
Carb + T88 + 3-Rotor + big (unknown) port = Tunning NIGHTMARE!

 

i was gonna say the stock 20b runs out of steam at like 6500rpms, but you need to post some pics, we need rotary ****

i'll post a link to the site i'm building for my project car, as sool as i build it
i found that the suggested redline is 8.5k and cutoff @ 10k
and that it is pp'd , wahoooooo
