I am upgrading for my 20B and I am curious which one you guys think is better, the KOYO Twin pass or the Pettit B-Cool. The Petit is definitely the bigger of the two, but I heard the KOYO cools very well. If you are using a 3rd let me know.
Opinions?

 

Custom Griffin here. Not too expensive and they'll make them to any spec you'd like.

 

Koyo is very small, not good for heavy traffic.

 

mine is custom also, afco.

I ended up taking 3" off the top & TIG'ing it shut.

 

Custom, biggest I could fit with a v-mount. Koyo looks a bit small imo

 

I'm currently upgrading from a Griffin to a B-cool, though not the one from Pettit. The Griffin was always barely adequate, exept in stop-and-go traffic. The B-cool is supposed to be better. We'll see.

 

If not from Pettit, where from Atilla? The Koyo is small, but apparently the twin pass is really an improvement over the regular koyo

 

pm stevenoz on here...he did mine and its massive. super cheap and works great. he has used it on all of his 20B 2nd gens as well. i forgot the name.

Summit Racing. Although I haven't looked at the Pettit radiator, I'm betting that it's for a 3rd gen.

Petitt uses the B-Cool for its 20B conversions.

 

Proper ducting is the key. The heat exchanger can't do diddly if you don't get the air to move threw it. Also there is a reason the factory used a manuel clutch fan to cool the larger 20b to begin with. They provide continuous air flow.

been using the koyo for some time now ...got the fans wired to work at full speed when they kick in , haven`t had any problems with overheating so far .....
