Oil Pressure

I Just put a omp block off plate in my rebuild engine. And for some reason when the engine gets hot the oil pressure will drop. I am using 20w50 oil. I don't think it is the o ring in the front cover. Could it be the block off plate.

Thanks for any help.

if it was the plate wouldn't it leak externally?

It could be the O ring in the front cover.

I'm so happy i don't have to take off the front cover.

It was the oil pressure gauge
