Looking for a 20b oil pan flange.

Im looking for a 20b aluminum oil pan flange 1/2 thick that has a pattern for use with a fd front cover. If anyone has any info on where i can get one let me know please.
I have to make a custom pan to fit my project.
Thanks

Custom all the way. Your pretty hard pressed to get exactly what you want off the shelf with a 20b swap.

It dont have to be off the shelf. I was hoping someone has something laying around. My machinist takes way too long to get things done. But if it comes to it i will have him do it.

I have a CAD file and a shop that can waterjet them, I did mine out of 1/2" 6061. Only problem is I am using a TII front cover. Not sure if the FD front cover has the same bolt pattern or not. I am also using a FD rear iron, but IIRC that was the same bolt pattern. If you can figure out if the FD cover is the same let me know and I can get you one cut out.

FD is not the same, your TII front cover is the same as the 20B. FD rear iron is not the same as the 20B

Banzai is correct.
I am using a 20b rear iron and fd front cover. I have a 1/2 6061 plate. I am going to just cut it with my plasma if it comes to it. My machinist is very busy and the other local shops are also busy with 3 month wait to cut.
Can your guy cut out a trace pattern?

20b rear iron and FD rear iron are *almost* the same. I used the 20B pan on the FD rear iron for years. Looking at the picture reminds me I think I had to drill one hole to make it work.

In any case yeah they could cut one out I'm sure. I don't really want to give away my CAD file, but if you want I could send you a PDF and you can print it and scribe it on the plate...

EDIT: see attached

Not saying it is impossible to use, but it takes more than drilling one hole, there are three holes missing and one (possibly two) has a conflict with the FD motor mount bolt holes.

Like I said, it has been years since I did it, but I think what I did is drilled and tapped a hole in the FD iron halfway in between the two mounting holes (left side in your pic), and drilled a corresponding extra hole in the 20B pan.

Either way, I do not remember it being a big deal and I have been running that engine for years without leaks or issues, including a couple of refreshes where the oil pan came off and got resealed. The bigger issue was machining the FD iron for the larger 20B tension bolts, and porting the crap out of it to match the larger 20B intake port.

Not sure if all this is really relevant anyway. My engine is going in a new chassis (FD), with a new tranny (ZF6), and totally different mounting (~6" back, ~2" down), hence the new oil pan I am fabbing up, but its all specific to my build, not intended for sale or anything. I don't mind sharing a PDF for use a template, but really why not use the 20B pan as a template and just adjust the front cover area.

I agree, a little easier when using the FD auto rear iron for the bolt holes, but still requires a lot of porting
