Just Installed T56 in my 20b FD

I just finished installing the T56 from an 04 GTO in my FD. I used the same setup as posted in the 3rd gen section by Howard Coleman called "FD Transmission solutions for 500+hp". His setup worked for me amazingly well. I love the close gear ratios from the new trans. I also think it shifts much better than the FD trans. If you are interested, I'd suggest using his setup. There are so many factors to getting this to fit that reinventing the wheel here is a big risk, IMHO.
Big project but very happy with the result so far.

I dont know about the t6060. The T56 is a tight fit. I had to trim a couple of aluminum tabs. If the t6060 is much bigger, especially on the engine end of the trans, you'll have to modify the tunnel.

Thought about pics but they aren't too exciting. I didnt go with a T56 shift **** so I'll have to tattoo the back of my hand like you did.

I have a Howard Coleman adapter plate and M12 T56 out of a CTS-V that I need to get out of my garage. I sold my 20B and FD, so I've more use of the garage space I'd gain than the parts.

Anyone interested should shoot me a PM.
