how do i wire up the 20b?

I've searched and searched for a diagram to wire up the 20b but found nothing. Can anyone help me out? I just need to know how to get the engine running and the tach output! That's it. I'm going full custom wiring so I just need the pinout to give the ecu power! Thanks

I've half tempted to delete this post.. you know you'd need to specify the ECU, right?
Further, the typical 20B-bound ECU's typically come with wiring diagrams.

For example, the MicroTech is stupidly simple & does come with wiring diagrams which *ARE* online. Please do us a favor by providing more information.. which will help us give you a better response.

Sorry for lack of info. I was wanting to see what all it took to wire up a stock, series A 20b,
Not stand alone. Sorry for any confusion.

Not easily doable without cosmo transmission. Wiring diagram is only available in Japanese AFAIK

The 20b pinout is very similar to the FD, if you want to power the ECU up you need 12v+ to pin 1A & 1B and grounds for 4A ,4B , 4C & 4D

lots of patience! you need the engine harness, the dash/body harness and the one that power the coils and such on the left fender well. plus you need all the coils and relay boxes and stuff.

you could make these harnesses from scratch, but its a HUGE job (ive done it. twice, the wiring diagram isn't 100% accurate either).

or basically you need a front clip, and you can take the stock dash wiring and get rid of the stuff you're not using.

I am in a similar position as you. I have a 20b sitting here with ecu harness attached. I managed to find the relays and fuse boxes which were given to me but a lot of the wiring was cut so unsure exactly if I am able to get it fired up.

I did have a quick look over it, seems like a lot of the wiring is for electrics within the car itself so fingers crossed I might be able to work with it or I will just wait for a spare front cut to become available and remove the wiring myself...
