Talking Got the motor in

We dropped my 20B in last night... finally. I'm pretty pleased with how it went in.. the K2RD mounts really saved us some fabrication time and headache. Here are a couple of shots of the engine installed:

The car is in the body shop from today until Friday getting the clear coat and a big ol dent fixed (someone through a pumpkin at my car a year ago ) I really wanted to have the car driveable by then, but the weather this weekend just didnt' cooperate. Now I have some down time... hmmm, need to order more AN fittings

Nice. I wish the bay was red though. Now it looks like you had a black car and didn't have the money to repaint the bay.

I actually like it also, I am currently prepping my underhood for a black spray on a white car Buying a sanblaster today to finish off the rest of the BS crud. The black paint is good cause it matches and exterior color. I was even thinking of doing a crazy graphic under my hood.

See, I had everything pulled out, and I had a few rust and acid spots on the frame... and I am VERY seriously thinking about a color change next year... just kind of preparing for that. I'll most likely go with Chrysler Patriot Blue or Mazda 99 Spec blue (CBM, or Competiton Blue Mica?) if I can get my hands on it.

This was also my first attempt at painting anything, and I didn't want to hassle with color matching the red, so black was a good choice. It shows off the parts that I want to be seen fairly nicely

Crazy graphic under the hood, I was thinking the same thing... we're make a carbon fiber hood for this car with a reverse cowl up front and a standard 3" cowl up by the windshield and a couple of head louvers behind the headlights... I'll be putting something under there, probably a big old air prushed rotor or something Nah, thats gay.
