Shaping up quite well there.. Day jobs do tend to get in the way!
I reckon you come of the top of the arch and run that near horiztonal towards the back of the car and then carry the majority of the extra width right through.. Maybe narrow it in a touch as it goes back. Then you could put a nice big rear facing vent detail at the back of the car. I guess something similar to the Veilside fortune kit thinking about it?

If I have fun and games with my fibre glass kit this time I think I will go this route next time. Working with metal is so much nicer in some respects..

Bit of tweeking to be done but with the car on jacks you get a referance of how far out the wheels sit. Obviously these are only 9" wide not the 13" that will be needed....

That front looks to be taking shape quite nicely! Are you planning on taking a complete new bumper moulding or just making add on GRP/carbon bits?

I am sure you have got this one covered but thought I might just mention it.. Have you check the turning arc of the wheel in the front arches? Depending on what you are doing with the suspension and spacers etc the wheel could have quite a wide arc.. I would hate you to get all done and have some arch rub..

Slow.
Had a few issue at work that have caused a complete hault on both my RX's. Very nealy resolved now so i should be able to get things moving again.
Next stage is to get the wings etc all welded up then start on the cage and under body bracing.
Also turns out that u can get off the shelf wheels for fit the car now so silly expensive custom ones arn't needed. I have a conversaion with the guys at Barwell near me in the UK. They build and maintain the GT1 and GT3 Aston Martins. Basically i will be running 18x10 et0 fronts on a 60mm bolt on spacer with Hi tenstile studs in both the hub and the spacer. The the rear will be a 18x12 et0 again with a 60mm bolt on. 285's on the front and 315 or 335 on the rears. Not sure yet.
Still considering the rad in the rear. But in terms of progress.... Zero i'm affraid.

I wasn't really feeling the lower section of the wheel arch on this. Had to take a step back and re-evaluate it. So got the choppy and weldy gear out and made it better...... Get that air out that wheel well!

I have been looking at car today as I was talking about turbos with a mate of mine. Havevbeen considering re thinking the location. Originally planned was to run it across the front of the engine to keep the weight in the middle of the cat. But after having spoken to the guys at mazdatrix and looked at a dyno sheets I think the share 90 degree exit of the down pipe from the turbo will cause exhaust issues. So I might run it like this instead. Would also mean shorter primaries which isn't a bad thing.

Well whilst debating turbo locations back to the pressing issue of the body. Did a bit this evening. Touch of filler in there and a quicky guide coat that I'll flat back in the morning. Still need some rounding off and blending into the body but it nice to see it coming together
