I don't plan on even beginning the project for another year or so, I've got plenty of time to study up. But, instead of using S4/S5 9.7:1 rotors, why not use the lighter/cheaper RX-8 10:1 rotors? And I notice you mention carbon apex seals, what's wrong with OE Mazda seals? I'm not shooting for any more than 380rwhp.

Nothing wrong with stock seals at all. I'm just running carbon ones in mine.
Not been able to get on this much as i have been busy with customer cars. Any way in house built centre silencer (pretty much the same our normal FD one). Also a mock up of the rear twin system.

The Stock black rubber lip on the back has been chucked. Will hopefully be using new prototype Knightsports diffuser. I have had measurements from them so hopefully yes it will work

Yes in the long run it will be turbo'd. Lots more to do yet before i start thinking about that. All the supporting bits will be going on first, throttle bodies, fueling etc etc.

New design for the rear section of the exhaust system. In the UK we have stupid low noise restrictions on alot of our tracks. This is another attempt to make the system more quiet. Its a dual centre exit section that will sit above the centre section of the RE-A diffuser in the number plate recess. Trial and error for flow vs volume

Yes foam filled fuel cell is going in the boot. Its the only way to do a dual system and keeping equak flow either side.

There are a few FDs in the area. I'm sure we can arrange a mini-meet. Also don't forget that Lyden Hill race track is just outside Canterbury if you want to give the car some "exercise".

Still awaiting delivery and FULL specs but the unit is a Garrett GT45. Very simialr to the GT42R but a little larger. Will make a nice amount of power/torque on a LARGE street ported 20B.
Will do away with the Stock upper and lower inlet manifolds and start on some custom ones with Single large throttle body, what size is to be astablished yet, in another effort to get better torque figures.

Base design for the plenum chamber. Not much to look at but give you an idea. On the front will be a moderate 100mm throttle body made from billet ally. That hole isn't 100mm haven't cut the proper one yet.
Few of it "in the making".
