Please post when you get some times and traps out of her. I have yet to see a street driven 3 rotor or for that matter 2 rotor run over 134mph and live to tell about it.

Steve Kan excluded the only other 7 that I saw make a 133mph pass and he backed it up 2x at Houston. Then blew the motor street racing.

Race gas of course.

That's funny! Now I'm "I wish I had 628rwhp guy"...I'll believe it when I see the times back up the dyno's.

I have been on this forum since 2001 and owned a 7 for 8 months before getting rid of it....and except for the "Great" Steve Kan have yet too see a street driven 7 consistantly run in 130mph range.

It's been 3 years I'm still waiting. Why does my favorite car in the world have such a crappy engine..I don't know.

the engine is not to blame here, it can be as crappy or great as you want it to be ....it totally depends on YOU , just because you cant make it work doesnt mean its crappy , and trust me there are a lot of people out there that you (or me ) dont know about ,that are runnign in the 130mph range , remember you dont know everybody, neighter do i

I was in the car when this happened, I think. He hasn't draggred his car in like 2 years if I'm not mistaken. I still have the video from that night I am thinking about. That night Steve laid the smack down on some Supra's from the 2nd row of cars!!!! If I ever get my hands on a video capture car I'll post the video for you guys. Anyway at the end for NO obvious reason the car sounded like it blew the motor???

Your expectations are way to high. Seriously, you can't expect a little 1.3l engine to triple it's hp and consistantly be perfect under these conditions. Do me a favor and find a similar displacement engine in a street car that meets your requirements?

thank you , thats what i am talking about
everytime its the same **** , ...oooh its crapy...oooh it blew a seal .....why does it have to be so fragile ...please............... if you know what youre doing ,and keep it within reason , it will make power and it will survive , just remember its a 1.3 , you cant expect a 500/600 hp 1.3 to last right not even a piston engine cant do that

That's why I don't own a 7 anymore! I disagree 100% I've owned and know of 6 street driven dms's and dsm hybrids 2.4's that push over 420awhp and 1 487awhp all on pump.

Stock EVO's with bolt ons are putting out 380awhp and up perfectly reliable.

I still love the car. I just hate the engine, rear, and trans alot. I just want to see progress there doesn't seem like there has been any.

You originally stated that you have yet to see an Rx7 run consistant 130mph and be reliable.

I have been on this forum since 2001 and owned a 7 for 8 months before getting rid of it....and except for the "Great" Steve Kan have yet too see a street driven 7 consistantly run in 130mph range.

The cars you mentioned above, do they run consistant 130mph trap speeds? I wouldn't think so. You are odviously using a differant set of standards when comparing the piston engines of those cars to rotarys.

Red sorry for getting off topic.

Steve-

You have to give me some credit... I have a turbo that isn't even the size of your two little nut sacks. I mean, hell..... 13psi and the turbo has nothing else to give!

I hear you are going to run a turbo equal to my nuts though, for that:

Man Mike I' so happy for you, I remember us talking about it last year @ RR, I guess it all work'd out in the end. My car is having the manifold, DP and IC piping done as I type, so I'm hoping to have the car up and running by September, I've got all the major stuff less the HALTEC done, just have the little things to do now

11.76 x 20 = 235.2 mpt (Miles per tank)

1400 / 235.2 = Approx 6 fill ups

20 x $2.15 (Going rate of 91 in AZ) = $43

$43 x 6 (Total times filled) = $258

So this is your daily driver right? Awesome numbers and attention to detail on your project. I envy your work.

what were the air fuel levels and size injectors on the run? 1600cc secondaries?
oh yeah and 20b and good gas milage? should they be in the same sentence

Wow, thats a lot of power

I'm glad your car is up and running. I know you hard "problems" with it in the past with acosta and i'm happy to see it running

So whats it feel like driving a 600RWHP+ car?
