Dual thermostat cover question

Dual thermostat cover question
For those of you keeping the dual thermostat on the
20b and using the stock cover, I just wanted to ask
where you are putting the "highest coolant fill location"
I was thinking of putting a fill / expansion cap on the
pipe of the stock cosmo stat cover, but was looking and
there isn't enough room under the hood.
So where are people putting the highest fill point?

The stock cover isn't going to fit unless you have a custom hood with a huge scoop or bulge for clearance.
SPiN Racing made me a custom billet aluminum dual thermostat housing with the filler cap on top. The TII hood interior required just a little bit of cutting to make it fit. Here are some pictures of the housing in the rough:

evil> i have already cut the hose fitting off and flipped
it over on the stock dual thermostat cover,
so it fits under the stock TII hood now, but there is no
room above that pipe for a rad cap, i just want to find a
way to fill the cooling system to the highest point,,,
the thought of using a rx2 pressure overflow, comes to
mind then i would only have to weld on a little pipe to
that cover. only problem is i don't think i have a rx2
tank left anywhere
I am just thinking that if there is a place in the cooling system
for expanding coolant to exit it should be located at the
highest point in the cooling system,,, no?

i had the valve thing cut off mine (it was bad anyways) and replaced with a radiator cap http://www.2751engineering.com/20B_2.jpg
it fit under the hood with a little cutting and its also the highest point in the system, i just have to get the hose elbow cut and rewelded at a better angle so it clears
