Custom secondary injector rail
Does anyone here make injector rails for a 20B? I need one that is really short to clear the firewall in my project. It can't have too much overhang past the rear rotor's secondary injector. The stock rail is far too long.
I'll have dimensions for maximum rearward length soon.
Actually, you know the fitting at the rear of the LIM? It is a mm or two from the firewall. That's the kind of space I have to work with.
I'll know the actual amount as soon as I can clean up a LIM and throw it on the engine.

You can check www.k2rd.com They make one and it is a little shorter than the stock one. I'll measure it later and find out how much shorter.

That would be most appreciated.
I've never done EFI before, but I have the LIM, UIM, TB, elbow, primary rail with injectors, and all three secondaries with no rail. I also have most of a rat's nest which should include the wiring to the injectors. The only things I think I need at this point are an ECU and an FI fuel pump with a pressure regulator. Do I need anything else?
Man, this EFI stuff has got me worried because I've never dealt with it before.

Get'n Lotsa Customization.
I may still go with a carb first. EFI on my car will mean lots more custom stuff than what it already has. I'd like to go EFI some day, but I don't know anyone nearby who could help out, so I'll probably scrap the idea for now.
I'm impressed with some of the dyno runs out there with an aftermarket ECU and no turbos. Shave 40-50LBS and lose like 5HP. Doesn't that translate into breaking even in acceleration or something like that? There is less torque, so maybe not, but I'm sure it means slightly better gas mileage and faster engine acceleration thanks to an uncorked exhaust.
K2RD seems to be down.
