Bridgeported 20B??

I just thought of this last week. Soul Assasin's bridgeported 13B puts out 450 something hp at the wheels. Imagine how much a bridgeported 20B would put out if it's possible. Is it possible?

Also, how much does a NA 20B put out and how bout a turbo one.

Gee, guess no one search or reads the old posts anymore...

R.E.Amemiya has claimed over 400hp with a PP 20B.
BP 20B should do 300hp easily.

Turbo'd 20B's have hit anywhere from 400 to 1000hp.

have a look at the mazdatrix website - their 1st gen drag car was a 20b bp running n20... doesn't seem to have been succesful (from this distance) but is a sound idea.

It "wasn't successful" because of normal teething problems...

BP 20B with a big turbo I would say 600rwhp+, with an emphasis on the +, but that's just me..

I have heard of 550hp 20B's with stock sequentials and 1000hp 20B's with big singles.

Here is what I would expect with a bridge port:
NA = normal aspired
BP = bridge port
TT = twin turbo (stock)
ST = single turbo conversion

20B NA BP = 300-400hp
20B TT BP = 500-700hp
20B ST BP = 600-1200hp

Has anyone heard of a PP turbo rotary?

Macro Acostas (sp?) has a 3rotor MX3 drag car. He puts out over 1030 hp at the wheels. Does anyone know what kind of porting and turbo his engine has?

You don't know?!
In 1995, Racing Beat set a class record at Bonneville of 242mph in an FD RX-7 powered by a 990hp triple-rotor PP with triple turbos.
