Average rebuild costs

I just recently blew a seal on the rear rotor, and my car is at Pettit right now going through a rebuild. I was just wondering what other people with 20b's have paid for a rebuild. I'm at 4550$ for a streeport rebuild + 245$ for new rotor + 425$ for new housing (5220$ total). Post up your totals!

well its a 13B x 1.5 + labor to remove and reinstall the engine?

5k is actually about what the stock motor runs around here (2800engine, 1500labor, plus misc things like clutches, metering lines etc etc)

That's exactly how they do it actually. 13B x 1.5. Labor is separate at 83$/hour.

I figured it was about average, just trying to get a feel for how much other people were paying in the same situation.

Also depends what's damaged. That can change costs up to +$2500 if the fat intermediate iron is damaged.

If you know how to build it yourself replacing all the springs and seals would cost around $800 if you know where to get them.

I wish I could, I don't have the room nor equipment to get everything done. Plus, I'm not sure how much I trust myself just yet
