That is why I never dealt with him when I took my car to MVA. I knew from the beginning that he was a shady person to deal with. Mike I believe Marcos has lead you in the right the direction regarding your project. Take their advise. I am not an MVA employee, just a very happy customer and now a friend as well. They mean well and will help you.

Shady - you mean like scamming some kid in to trading your salvage title supra for his clean title RX-7

This thread and the developments of this car is one of the main reasons I have been continually checking this section. I'm sorry that some low-life **** for brains has put a large damper on the project. Damn that pisses me off.

the "spokesman" for mva motorsports (mario)
is such an honest person that he with the help of the acostas took advantage of a customer with a very clean, clean titled 3rd gen.the vehicle kept blowing up on the kid time and time again after mva tuned it.so the kid was frustrated and mario conned him into trading for a theft recovery supra wich he neglected to inform the kid was salvage.the kid went under the advice of not only mario but also marcos jr. wich told him a ridiculousamount to repair the vehicle and also told him he was better off in the supra.in conclusion i ask only one question why didnt mario take the car to a motor vehicle inspection to clean the title when he had all the parts to do so?????were they in fact stolen parts ????

The T78 is what they make 650 rwhp with at 12-14 psi? Is this a dual bb setup?

Marcos told me It was a Innovative GT80R Dual BB. That turbo will support 1000+ hp. The compressor map is available on Innovative's web page.

Hey Vosko, tell Judge I said hi...I guess he knows some peeps down here in Naples! Small world. Tell him I managed NOT to screw up the Cosmo housing he sent me :-) Engine is looking good. Just need to get it put together this week and slide her into the car. I polished EVERYTHING.

Looks like my 3 rotor project is now heading in a different direction...anywhere but NJ. Pretty sad.

Out of curiosity, why is it that EVERYONE charges $35K? Realistically, with a 'Pettit" style installation, you're looking at less than half that in parts. And there's NO WAY the installation runs $15-20K.

Mike, I really hope things work out for you. I'm sure you've already contacted a lawyer. Make sure he's able to practice in the Garden State. Regardless of how amicable everyone seems to be, it'd still be a good idea to spend $500 on a retainer. Just a thought.

... Give it some time and lets see how it works out.

MVA want's to finish my car. That has never been in question, but being stuck between a business fued between two parterns who are not willing to give; is where I am.

We are trying to get it done, but before all the mud slinging comes out lets see how it goes.

Mike

I hope you're getting a price break for this. Time is money That said, they seem like nice guys so that calls for a bit of leeway-weeks not months.
