ya... he can make everything himself. he builds SS headers, exhausts, and IC pipes etc all the time just a matter of space...

I'm just curious if it's been done and any pics.

FYI this is for the guys "street" car LOL... his tube chasis drag race frame is currently being made now too for a different 3 rotor LOL..

hmm.. I wonder what he's gona do with his R100 with it's single turbo FD engine and NOS...

running them in parallel, none that I can think of... a big single would do it too. I guess it's all about bragging rights, cause why the hell not eh? LOL...

FYI this is the customer's current car.... r100 with single turbo FD engine and NOS

Well since it's apparently going to be a show queen, it doesn't have to run or anything. Just bolt some turbo housings together and attach 'em with painted PVC piping to a 20B "shell" with no internals.

Hell, even better.... make a fake 4-rotor using a bunch of 13B rotor housings and intermediate housings.

It just makes the exhaust colector that much more complicated.

you should get pics of the fire wall of that r100. putting a 13b in there is like a 20b fd, you have to cut firewall

I really like the car, but IMO the 3-turbo setup is a complete waste of money except for those advertising their automotive specialty business.

I would tend to opt for a single turbo.

Think about this: as far a plumbing and distribution of exhaust energy goes, twin isn't what I would call ideal on anything with three exhaust ports.

Sure the factory does twins, but IIRC, this is a log manifold piped into a single exhaust housing containing two turbines with actuators directing exhuast in one direction or the other for 'sequential' opertation. Not to mention most 20B owners seem anxious to remove this set-up.

Running a 20B like three seperate engines on a common e-shaft sounds better to me. Obviously the turbine housing choice would need to reflect the fact that we were getting 1/3 the exhaust pulses. I would expect that the flow capacity of three small turbine housings will out-perform two large units too. The end result will definately be something that wants to run on the top end. The RB land speed car is a perfect example of this.

On the street I see no use for it, it's just another way to up the 'mines bigger than yours' ante. The power delivered will be very difficult to connect to the ground in a street chassis whenever it peaks.

On the dragstrip or lake-bed purpose built chassis were it belongs, maybe they've got something there. I would consider using three water-to-air coolers and a 3-barrel throttle body to make the whole science project worth studying.
