20b engine feedback on supplier

Has anyone done business with dealercast/Joe Drift/Joe Vick or have feedback on the company? I haven’t been able to find much except through eBay which is positive. They usually pop up with 20b engines for sale and shows the compression tests which each motor.

I got mine through Mazmart because I got tired of trying to vet everyone and getting nowhere.

Are you expecting to not have to rebuild the engine when you receive it or something?

wow that’s really good pricing. Is there a backlog to wait as I see d and c engines there and so they usually have good harnesses and compression checks done?

I am am picking up a c for around 7400 including shipping.

That's not a bad price. I'm sure they'll check out whatever you'd like if you ask.Their builder Rick Engman builds a lot of the mazda race car engines including the kudzu 4 rotor engines. They can be more expensive sometimes, but they're reliable.

Damn I can't believe how much these engines are going for these days. I paid $3,500 for my D133 back in 2003 (before the 20b crazy hit). I'll tell ya, supply and demand is a ****.

Another way to do it is to just buy the FD with the 20B already in the engine bay
