20 B in 2gen ?

Hello

My name is Bjarni and Im new here. I own a 1991 2gen RX7 Turbo II, and I´m going for a ground up restoration. I was wondering, because I´m gonna make a street car out of it is it very hard or trikky to put a 20 B in it ? I´m looking for about 400-500 whp.

Bjarni

welcome to the board. Fist thing you should do when you have a question is to search. There is a search funtionon the top right of each page.

This has been covered and debated to death... also check the 'Engine Swap' section

You'll need these mounts to make the engine fit:

Laser cut and powder coated, pm me if you want a set.

getting the block in once you have the costum mounts is as easy as dropping in another 2nd gen engine. all the fabrication, parts and wiring is whats a pain and expensive. even if you know how to weld and bend ect ect, the parts to get the job done still run you. not only that but you wanna make sure the engine you got in there is built to perfection since you will be putting soo much into the project.

If your goal is only 4-500rwhp then stick with the 13b. With the right turbo choice you can easily reach your goal and save yourself a shitload of money.
