a ton of those 1000+ hp supras have the stock tranny, not cryoed or anything, great trannies from everyone i've ever talked to or read about. you can find them pretty regularly on ebay for around 3K and brand new from toyota they're 5300 plus shipping of course.

big_rizzlah, not to jump on you, but I just priced a 6-speed tranny (someone asked). They're definitely more than $5300. List price is $5940. You may find some stealerships that mark it up only to about $5600 if you look hard enough. Shipping not included.
I can get 'em for a hair under $5K, + shipping (new, of course). Feel free to PM me if you're interested (for that or ANY other Toyota part, for that matter).
