So this has been about a 13 year project that has spent more time sitting than being worked on. To be clear, I paid for about 95% of the total cost of this 4rotor/Whipple project about 8 years ago. Plus let me be clear, I have zero issues with Logan and Defined Autoworks. I totally respect Logan and we have an over decade long friendship. But one thing that these big project run into is the time it takes for parts to be machined. Or in my case some POS in Missouri who took two years to trash my perfect 48k mile body. That was two years. Then I ended getting a guy Logan knows in Ohio to repair the bodywork and that took a long time and almost as much money as the POS in Missouri. Then we ended having an issue with a coating some Chip dude did for some side plates or housing...I am so far out of this stuff I don't even remember all the technicals. I turn 59 in 10 days so forgetting is the new normal. I had to buy new housing or was it side housing...who cares. It took over 1.5 years to get those back from New Zealand. So that put me in the back of the line with Logan's projects.

Recently I spoke to Logan and we decided to just do a simple single turbo on the 4 rotor and not deal with setting up a Whipple and experimenting.

Funny thing is I have been telling Logan for 10 years I want to get this car done before civilization collapses. Well...

So now to disappoint the RX7 purest...I ain't one. I am sick of shooting for the stars and not even getting to the moon. So you probably already know where this is going....Blasphemy...Dark Side!

We are getting rid of all my 4 rotor parts. Talk to Logan of Defined if you want part or all of a super sweet 4 rotor. It isn't assembled yet. I am done with dreaming and waiting. In fact I don't really even think about this car much anymore. But I have a **** ton of work and money in this.

Plus Logan told me a turbo 4 rotor gets about 7 miles to a gallon...**** that! LS3 going in and I can work on it. It starts every time. It gets great gas mileage comparatively and I am not pouring oil in my constant stopping in at the gas station. At 7 miles a gallon this would be a garage queen. I will take an easy 500rwhp and 17 miles a gallon and I can work on it any day over that loud pig of a 4 rotor engine. I really want it but that world is dead. Better get what I can while I can.

Sorry to disappoint but this car is going to be finished and it will make more sense than even a 2 rotor turbo. So if you need to talk about buying 4 rotor parts call or email Logan of Defined Autoworks. No waiting on New Zealand for 2 years.

I hope by the end of 2022 I won't be starving, I will still own my guns, my 14 year old daughter will still be a girl, Lesco Brandon is hanging from a light post as well as the rest of the New World Order and my GD 13 year old project is completed.

I guess I might see some of you over on No Rotors...but probably not.

I will post pictures if this ever gets completed.

Sad to hear about the switch but after reading the names you listed I'm not suprised. If i've learned anything its to never pay up front or the work will never come after. once they have the money people get complacent. I enjoyed watching what you've built over the years and unfortunately you never got to really enjoy the fruits of your labor. i hope your new endeavor leads to many happy miles! I'm on my own 20b journey of my own and it is not going to be to the grand scale yours is but I will happily put more miles on it in a shitty state than the "perfect" car i can envision. Regardless, keep posting your stuff, we will keep watching
