Yet another muffler question...

Would one of these work on a stock 12A? Anobody have any experience with these? I just want to replace the main muffler and leave everything else intact. My car has to stay emissions legal.

2nd one may last longer with the ceramic packing. 1st one if baffled with glass, that would be a no.

Go Borla instead. Many have said nothing but good things about the quality. Not that pricey either!

You know the first muffler will be a fart can, just by looking at it. The second one, may sound good. Sorry just projecting here mainly. I CANNOT STAND the fart can sound, AT ALL, on anything, lol. Now you know my opinion, lol.

I was leaning towards the second one. I definately don't want the fart can sound. Just to let you know I did do a search but sometimes you really don't get the right results. THe information I have come up with is RB=good, Pacesetter/Monza=bad. So do you guys think changing the main muffler would make a noticable improvment?

probably not. your going to get all of your power from eliminating the cats, and replaceing the manifold with a header. you will probably only notice that the car will be louder with new/diff muffler.
