A thin strip of copper is ok. A bit of copper showing all around is ...ok, as long as it is smooth. Ive found core engines cheap, and Ive found good matching pairs of rotors for around $100 shipped. You may have to hunt a bit on this forum, but youll find it. Just make sure your seal clearance is good on the rotor tips. Any rust can deform them.

1. Please look at how coppery the bearing looks.

The chip is ok. The bearing id replace.

Thanks, are bearings something you replace both or can one be replaced ok? It looks like the rear is in decent shape. I'll post a pic of that one next.

As long as they both fit to tolerance around the eshaft you can replace 1 or 2.
