Assuming you have a good set to put in no harder than replacing any other part of the unibody like a rear quarter or something. Cut them out of the donor car, make sure they are good, mark where you wanna cut on your good car and go to it. If you look under there you can find the seams pretty easily, you might even be able to just drill out all the spot welds and replace it like that. If you can weld it shouldn't be too much of a bitch. Luckily my project's rockers were still good, I had enough fun making new wheel wells for it. Hope that helps. I might be able to get some shots of that area on my project if you wanna see the seams etc.

Is it practical at all to even think about pulling dents? I'll get some pics ASAP to let you see what I'd be working with, but as best as I can describe it, just figure that the center half of the panel is crushed about half way.

I would definatly try pulling it out first. replacing it isn't not a job I'd wanna do too often. Besides, if you **** it up pulling it out its no worse than when you started. If you know how to weld and have a spot weld drill (or a regular drill will work for that matter) then its something you can do. Post pics, I'm interested in seeing whats up with it.

Sorry, dude, about my comments - I was thinking quarters, not rockers...

that link is for the plastic lower door sill piece, not a rocker panel.
brian looks like your 7 is getting its *** kicked. how did the rocker panel damage occur? If it were me I'd try to pull that out before thinking about replacing them. Buy a cheap stud gun and slide hammer and go to town on it. you could probably do most of it with only a little bondo. good luck
