is it worth it...

ya lets see just wantign to know if it is worth to drop the power steering out of a se or in any rx7? and if so would you just use a gsl steering box?

Meh, after having driven cars with and without power steering, I can honestly say I prefer it without (at least for lightweight cars, never tried driving a heavy car with manual steering).

i have just reconnected my p/s in my 85 gsl and it is noticable i like it much more anad feels easier i liked the car w2/o it but not when i was driving slow

Alot of guys like the Se gear box without using the p/s portion of it. I have had mine disconnected for some time and the feel of the road seems to be enhanced. Power steering is nice but on our cars being so light it's not a real major problem without it. And the se boxes are much better than the earlier models.
