wont start

wont start

I have replaced fuel pump/filter/leading coil cap and rotor it had good spark and i can smell gas but it wont start will start if i push start it but just dies when i let off the gas.

I see that you have replaced a lot of parts, but have you actually seen the leading spark with your own eyes? I would not continue any farther with anything else until I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that I had spark on my leading ignition.

Yes i have seen the spark from the leading and trailing with my own eyes forgot to add i replaced the ignightors allsoo.

yea next thing to check i would think, only takes but a few minutes or a couple of bucks.
could also be vacuum realted if you still running rats nest

But if its vacume it wouldnt run at all right? itl run if i push start it and will die if i let off the gas.

No, it will still run with vacuum leaks, just not well.

u running nikki on it? if so might just need a rebuild on it, that carb likes to get gummed up.

12a or 13b? Have u tried tranmission fluid in the carbs and pull started? If you smell gas it could be flooding?

Don't use ATF in your engine, use MMO instead. It might be time to perform a compression check. Were you able to check your ignition timing yet?

Sounds like the carb to me, I know when my carb needed a rebuild it did the same thing, kinda sucked having to keep one foot on the gas at all times, i felt like a bitch lol
