PA Wiring issue (80)

Hello, first of all im a 17 year old who bought a 1980 SA as my first car due to my love for rotary engines. But I have just recently put new center console vents in my SA, which forced me to take my dash out. One I took the dash out and put everything back together. any time I flip the lever to turn on my headlights, my 10 Amp fuse blows thats connected to the tail lights. it only blows once the car is on but if it is off it is perfectly fine and doesnt blow. the headlights will still come on, but the fuse will blow for tail lights which makes it so I dont have any gauge lights, cigar lighter light, ashtray light, ac control light and the pop up switch wont work.. every now and then the cigar/clock light will blow aswell, which is a huge pain. im just trying to figure out what could be going wrong. anywhere I should look in particular? This only started happening after the dash was taken out and reinstalled.

Check your grounds, you might have pinched some wires.

I agree with the above in that it sounds like a short to ground. It could be that you did in fact pinch a wire and create the short. Unfortunately, youll have to pull the parts of the dash and go over the wiring. You may end of having to pull as much of dash that you had taken out if that's what it takes.
