that car is not stock, it has been rebuilt. You can tell becuase OEM the housings are not painted blue.

I second the oil level sensor, but I cannot tell 100% from those pics

Ok after studying the third picture Im pretty sure its the oil level sender. You can block that off if you want, if the alarms goes off its already to late lol

You can find a block off plate at mazdatrix http://www.mazdatrix.com/boil1.htm

post pics of that other wire and we can help with that one too

Is the oil temp sensor important, I do seem to have an overheating issue. no I haven't let it actually overheat.

still trying to figure this out. someone said somthing about an oil pressure sensor. well I noticed a new problem (as if i didn't have enough in the first place) and my oil pressure when the choke is on is 100psi once it's warmed up it goes back down to 40psi but when i'm driving it climbs back up. This is new and just started today I beleive. but it use to go 40 at idol to 60psi under load. I don't even have a clue on what or where to look

sounds typical. my gsl se does this as well. gonna put 20w50 in to see what the results will be.

if your oil pressure gets really low. you probably then have a problem

i believe 85 would be a modded engine, the oil spring? usually doesn't allow that much under load. i believe it was 80.

mines pretty close to the top of the gauge witch goes to 110psi it looks like its at a 100 psi I'm sure its not a modded engine. well its a little modded now. but the po was a chick who upgraded to a ******* prius of all things thats just wrong. but it was all stock when I bougt it well it did have an aftermarket carb and has been rebuilt as mention earlyer. but I beleave they paid for that
