Talking 85 GSL-SE project thread (compilation of fail and progress)

I bought my 85 GSL-SE from a former member of the forum and a close friend of mine.

It has these mods right now:

Bonez intake
Bonez stage 1 brake upgrade
Steel braided brake lines
Jacobs FC1000 ignition
Jacobs coil packs
Tokico blue struts
RP springs (cut rear)
RP exhaust
Mazdaspeed short shifter
Cusco strut bar
Suspension Techniques adjustable rear sway bar
Sus-Tec front sway bar
Motegi Trak-Lite 15x7 wheels (still have em but are for sale)
Enkei EK32 14x6 wheels (current, no new pics with the new tires)

Its been a maintenance monster so far. I've replaced a lot of things on it and am still in the process of doing so. Just finished with the shocks and struts. Next I suppose I need to change the brake and clutch fluids, they're black.

One of my favorite cars though, I'm really loving it so far. Tell me what you guys think.

You got PM brother. I'm gonna keep business stuff to PM since my FS thread has not been approved by a mod.

IMHO, the flat camo hood doesn't mesh at ALL with the gloss red, maybe repainting straight black for the cheapo way or if you have the scratch, getting it painted to match the rest?

Love the new wheels tho! Both those and the black were sexeh, I'm thinking about dropping some flat black 5-Zigens on my gunmetal -SE

I was drunk when I painted that hood. It was flat black and was fading badly so either way it was gonna be sort of ugly. I do plan on painting it all red again since the rear and roof are fading pretty bad. Thanks for the comments though.

It has 225k miles on the chassis.
