I use 16" which covers a good area, but I think you can fit 18"
In the wiper section at Canadian Tire there is a book with every make of car in it, look up RX-7 and it'll say.

18"
Never completely trust anything you read to be 100% accurate, whether it's printed, on-line, or in a parts database.
The 18 inch Bosch fit perfectly. The location of the mounting hole makes a difference. Bosch wiper blades have two holes; use the hole closest to the cowl.
Other brands 18" may or may not fit. Test them yourself before buying.
