Will it fit..... Please help

I have a 1984 12A 5spd with a bent strut rod.

All the junkyard had was a 1985 12A 5spd.

Will the Strut assembly and axle fit?

Yes the strut rod will fit, I am assuming you are referring to the rod that mounts near the corner of the Sway Bar and holds the strut assembly laterally and at a set caster?

Yes, and will my 84 brake rotor and caliper bolt up to the 85 spindle. that's what's worrying me

Should not have any issues with that, as far as I am aware there are no brake caliper differences between the years other than the rear ones replacing the drums.

I'm using 1982 Strut assemblies on a 1984 GSL-SE body so you shouldn't have any issues for that.

If you want I have a set of stay rods and a sway bar I can sand blast and sell you?

No need to worry. It'll fit just fine.

It'll fit. I'm using the entire assembly from an '82 on my '85, because the PO snapped off one of the studs at the top of the strut assembly.
