Opinions/Help needed - S5/S6 Franken-rotor

I was talked into removing my AUX ports and all of the ACV and rats nest from my S5 NA block... I threw it all out and now I hate myself for it because I do 100k a day highway. I've got nothing in the bottom end (where I always am to save gas driving a rotary to work lol.)

I've come across a friend who has an entire S6 setup that hes tearing out for an LS swap... he'll give it to me cheap-ish... I want to take everything from the FD block and bolt it onto the S5 block (port-matching the FD block (stock twins, fuel rails, manifolds, etc.) to match the 6-port intake ports on the block (just like it were a TII swap onto the 6-port block - there is a write-up somewhere in the 2nd gen forums by aaron cake I believe)...

I've been told once that S5 and S6 rotors are the same weight (which means same compression ratio?)... that being said, the FD OEM ECU should be able to run it provided I make the fuel rails and everything FD fit.....

Does anybody know anything about any of this... FD vs. FC bolt stud location, etc....?

Any and all help is appreciated...

Why don't you just drop the S6 keg straight in? I've seen other FC's drop full REW longblocks in FC's. I'm not sure whats required to make it fit but I know you can make it fit with stock twins and all working (or go single turbo for a little more $$$ )

The REW engine will need mounts, and it sits back further.
I don't know how you are gonna get it to run unless you go standalone.
Frankly, if you are complaining about no low end and gas mileage, then why in the world are you gonna spend a ****-load of bucks to put the FD engine in?..
And No,you can't just throw FD manifolds on without running into some kind of Snafu.Even the fuel delivery system is different(side feed injectors).Waterpump and cooling system sucks too.
.But I am no Expert,so let's see what anyone else has to say on this..(No offence to the OP taken I hope)

You can run the stock ecu if its stock and has a cat on it. Otherwise you have to run a standalone like a powerfc.

here's a good thread on putting the FD engine in the FC... note the way the REW engine is mounted with that big weld-in bar at the rear of the front subframe...
