Think about it this way. Looking at the engine from the front of the car, the engine rotates clockwise. On the main pulley, there is a yellow and a red mark. The yellow is for leading ignition, and is to the right of the red (trailing) mark. When the pulleys rotate clockwise the yellow (leading) will pass over any point before the red (trailing), so the leading must fire before the trailing.

Now that i read over that i'm sure i could have explained it better. But i think you should get the point.

and remember, people assume because it rotates clockwise that the trailing fires first. not true. like mwatson184 said, its all in the timing.

I believe that the front coil is trailing, and the rear coil is leading. Kinda the opposite of what I'd expect, but hey... These things were built by aliens, so I hear.
