Why no time slip/dyno section?

Why did 1st gen section get the shaft when it comes to this section? With all the turbo II swaps that are popping up and new dyno sheets popping up everyday it would be nice if we had our own section like the FD and FC's. Someone make this happen!!!

Its 1st gen racist I tell you!!! RACIST!!!

Most first gen owners don't have turbos. First gens are fun and quick cars, but dyno sheets make us cry, since economy cars put down twice as much HP these days.

(Not me though, I have a modded SE!)

Ok still doesn't say why we don't have our own section... who is the Mod of the 1st gen section? We have to make this happen. Hell I see so many new turbo 1st gens popping up on the forum as well as NA modders. Its bull really.

Thank you Jeezus for cross-linking that post so I didn't have to write it again.

Tsi_Xtreme: I'm the mod, it's not bull, read the link above. I see a dyno sheet in your sig... did you post it somewhere? I'll archive it and add it to the collection, just post a link to the thread.

Jon

Nothing like digging up painful past posts! Especially those in which I get burned.

Thanks Jeezus.

Don't worry about it mike....

At least you don't have a thread in the FAQ that makes it look like you *still* don't know the difference between FB, FC....

Most people don't bother to read the *date* on which I posted it, and don't notice that my post count updates to reflect my *current* number of posts, rather than the.. oh... 8 posts I had when I made the thread!

I also have a thread buried around here somewhere that has me trying to (incorrectly) explain to someone that "forced induction" meant "fuel injection" and "naturally aspirated" meant "carbureted"... Manntis corrected me on that one, lol!

dj55b, awesome numbers man! Lately I've seen dyno graphs that make me despair about my upcoming engine build... but 147hp out of an N/A SP12a w/ Holley 465 and a clear exhaust is pretty good... Makes me think I might be able to hit a little higher with some tuning and the parts that'll let me rev into 8k range without danger.

Ya, I'll probably take it to the dyno again once I get the throttle bodies this summer, from there I should be able to adjust my fuel line better and I'm hoping to hit about 160rwhp out of the SP. which I think would be an awesome number then for a SP.

Forgot to mention that I also need to tackle the ignition as i'm still running stock ignition system, so that should net in a few more ponies in the top end as my ignition kept on dropping off at around 7k rpm
