Time slip posting
Does anyone else see it as almost an insult that both of the other gen sections have postings for dyno results and time slips, while we have none? It just kinda feels like they are insinuating that FB/SA's are so slow that forming a section for us is not worth the effort.
Not that i've ran nor dyno tuned my car, ever. But if I ever do I guess they'll just have to go on the refrigerator.
Lame I say.

It's not about power or dyno's when it comes to my FB, it's all about how fun it is to drive. I could care less what the numbers are as long as it feels like it wants to be set free. ( And for the record I'm not past that age of recklessness yet we'll say younger than 30, but older than 20) I just don't see the point in numbers. Someone will always have better numbers.

It's not "insulting" in the least.
The other sections have it because there were enough people posting time slips and dyno graphs to warrant it.
Every time slip or dyno graph I see goes into the archive. You'll notice by browsing through the archive that we have less than a half dozen of each. Not enough to warrant a section.
If there's demand, show me the dyno graphs and timeslips guys... Post them, I'll fill the archive with 'em, then I'll ask for a subection and move them all over there.
Anthrax Mike, where are your timeslips and dyno graphs? I can't seem to find 'em.

I've never dyno'ed my car, why? Because its completly stock and slow, and therefore I have not dyno'ed it nor ran it. I actually found it funny that there was no place to post slips because most people don't have them. People who want more power, either move up to FCs, FDs or swap in the former cars motors.
I was just trying to rouse up support for the under powered flimsy light weights that are our cars. Oh well.

The first generation RX-7 is fastest of all (except stock), and has been more successful in racing. They are more rare hence fewer time slips. There is nothing to prove and no Insult.

I'm many weeks or a few months out from test and tune at the track, but when I do I'll damn sure post slips for straight up and Nitrous times. (1/4 mile)
