Who would get a spoiler?

Yeah...They're Gawd Damn Awful...but I have one you might be interested in.
Picked up a rex for a Benjamin plus towing charge, and in the back was a three piece, fiberglass wrap around spoiler...used and spray painted black.
I believe it to be Mazdatrix Part # FG49972. It lists for $237.
(Someone tell me why?!) But I figure it's a good bargaining chip for what I need. The wing is in fine shape.

Sorry, it's just not my dawg....
BUT!... I need some fender flares.
Help me out. Got some kickin' round?

BTW, I know this is highly deceptive, but Mr. Moderater, before you go and send this post to the classifieds, look around there! Seems like nobody from the first gen forum goes there!

Moderators need to set up a 1st gen only forsale forum! Not too many people posting 1st gen stuff anymore in the regular forsale forums here it seems.

Gueeze I dunno. I hate that game. That's why I was hoping for a simple trade. Even if the fender flares were valued at less that the spoiler, somehow I would'nt feel like I got screwed simply cause I need them; Know what I mean?

How close are you to setting that up? I gotta pile of parts! It's gettin time for me to slim down a bit.

I'll take it!

I'll take the spoiler off your hands.. I have nothing to trade, but would gladly pay some $, plus any shipping charges.

My brother (the computer whiz that always has the latest, bestest camera) is here visiting. I'll get him to photo it tomorrow, and I'll post pics in the classified section (for the respect of the rules n' all )
I'll tell ya on this post when they're up.
Then you can throw #s at me.

pm me a list what kind of parts are in your collection and let me know a package price and I may get it started next weekend (My provider gives me a free web page with my package and I am planning on using it for this)

My Idea was an alpha listing (by year) of the parts on hand and a rough price (most reasonable offers would be accepted ) for the item and e-mail me with request and zip and Ill e-mail with total price (item+shipping)

Damon - the only downside I could possibly see is dead beat sellers. Perhaps you could act as a mediator or something, or set something up to help prevent this. Maybe only the forum brothers could sell? I don't know what to do to avoid it, but it seems to happen a lot these days.

Also, maybe set up the parts not by year, but by area (ie engine, susp.) since some parts are 79-85, some are 84-85, some are 80-85, some are just 79. You know what I mean, it would be difficult to locate a specific year part. If you've ever seen Lockwood engineering's site, I like that listing. Just some ideas, feel free to disregard them though

redwood I would be the only seller I would gather most of the parts locally (boneyards , peoples homes , etc )
And off the forum if someone is selling a pile of parts and give good prices (and shipping doesnt rape me) I am looking for ideas on this setup and would like to know what everyone thinks

yea the whole seller thing is what holds me back on a lot of auctions and stuff (if you aint got a good history chances are I wont buy ) Which is why I would rather start here and build a reputation in the community of rexers

peace
