white smoke when decelerating
hows it going?i have a 85rx that i just got off my freind.theres a few issues with the car but the main one i need some help with is when i have it around 5 to 6k and leave it dwell then let off the gas 2 or 3 times alot of white smoke came out of the exhuast.ive had the car for a week not and its only did this 4 times at the most.it has a home made exhuast pipe and muffler on there.anyone no what it could be?
and ive been trying to find out if the 1985 gsl has a lsd.thanx

the motor is getting old, and the oil control rings are loosing their ability to with hold oil from being burned, there for letting more get past the rings & be burned, thus the smoke.since it was up so high in the rpms, it got hot, and the rings expanded, and let that oil past. Nothing to worry about, if anything you're getting more lubrication. Just check the oil level at every fill up since it is now burning a little more than it would stock. All gsl's have lsd from the factory, unless someone switched it out. does it have rear disc? then chances are you still have your lsd
