where to get a 13b

where can i get 13b and for how much? and how much can i get one and have it rebuilt? i want to go with a larger engine before i start getting into serious mods thanks

You can get a 13b by talking to rgus, or going to the NW Forum section and looking at rgus' thread, where he's selling two gsl-se 13b's for 350 each.

would a 13b from a second generation fit into a 81 ? im planning to go all motor for now but planning for turbo upgrades later in the future

KILLER MAN... Damn and only $15 after all that looking I guess I will have to go pull that carb and intake setup off that motor I have out back... thanks alot... now here the real question... AS MUCH AS A DESPISE MY HOLLEY I wonder if this thing would make more power on a street ported 13b...

350 a pop????? Whats the conditon on those engine? I have a 83' GSL, I will need the fuel injector unit, harness, transmission etc too don't I????

yes... you need the fuel pump, filter, new lines, the RB 13b mount, exaust header.... just about everything that is connected to that engine because of the FI. You can still use your 12a tranny BTW.

I havent delt with the GSL-SE wiring harness, but it should be TONS easier than the 89 one I'm figuring out.

If you wanted to go carb, that would be a different story.

It really boils down to how much money you want to spend, how easy you want it to be, and how many headaches you want.

The easiest way to drop the GSL-SE engine in is you put a side draft on and forget the FI.
