You can get a 13b by talking to rgus, or going to the NW Forum section and looking at rgus' thread, where he's selling two gsl-se 13b's for 350 each.

i_piss_on_hondas 12-23-02 10:18 PM

KILLER MAN... Damn and only $15 after all that looking ;) I guess I will have to go pull that carb and intake setup off that motor I have out back... thanks alot... now here the real question... AS MUCH AS A DESPISE MY HOLLEY I wonder if this thing would make more power on a street ported 13b...

Vubonic 12-24-02 06:54 AM

350 a pop????? Whats the conditon on those engine? I have a 83' GSL, I will need the fuel injector unit, harness, transmission etc too don't I????

hornbm 12-24-02 03:19 PM

yes... you need the fuel pump, filter, new lines, the RB 13b mount, exaust header.... just about everything that is connected to that engine because of the FI. You can still use your 12a tranny BTW.

I havent delt with the GSL-SE wiring harness, but it should be TONS easier than the 89 one I'm figuring out.

If you wanted to go carb, that would be a different story.

It really boils down to how much money you want to spend, how easy you want it to be, and how many headaches you want.

The easiest way to drop the GSL-SE engine in is you put a side draft on and forget the FI.
