Where to find decent radiator?

I've spent the last hour looking for something that doesn't look sketchy and still at a decent price and this is all I could find:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1979-...Q5fAccessories

After replacing the thermostat, and a few more days driving I've come to the conclusion my rad is probably gummed up somewhere... since it seems to get warmer and cooler on it's own time. (Sometimes hot when sitting, sometimes hot when driving highway, and sometimes cool in both scenarios.) Will the one I linked be a direct fit? Is there anywhere eles I can get one for a similar price that will be a direct fit?

if you have a two row radiator, just pull it out and take it to a radiator shop and have it rodded out

I have future plans for this car that involve a very unique engine setup and would like a better performing radiator regardless... I'd rather spend 150 on something new, then hope that $40 of effort on a 29 year old part will keep my engine from going up in smoke.

Just bring your old radiator to a local rad shop to get it recore with 3-row. At least, its easier to deal with warranty and such. but that is just me.

Actually the rotary engine is German (at least the design is) and I've heard good things about the eBay aluminum rads which is why I plan on buying one next month so I'll let you know how it holds up.

Rockauto has what you need at a very good price. I don't understand why it would
not meet your needs. Its an OEM replacement and the only difference is it comes
with the extra auto cooler lines that you can just ignore, not hook up or even
remove.

I'll be using my new rockauto radiator in my soon to be turbo fb. I'm planning to make around 250 whp in Vegas heat. It's the "short" 3 row version from the 79-82 cars. Plenty of people on this forum are using oem style radiators in their cars and most of them are making more power than I plan to make. Just make sure you got a good efan or good working clutch fan..

The ebay rad is very similar to the one CXRacing makes.

I mean an engine from a car designed and built in Germany. Not an engine designed by a German, then built by the Japanese. I know it's going to be a ton of work to make it work out, but in the end I hope for ~200rwhp and ~30mpg highway.
