Those look older then a first gen to me. I Have 80-85 and i have never seen one on my cars.
Maybe a savannah edition gsl from 78-79, my best guess is would be something from the early or mid 70's

One is an old Mazda badge, the Rotary Engine one looks like it's from a Repu, not sure on the limited one, the GSL badges are from the FB GSL's. Some had them and some didn't

The GSL badges i think go on the B pillar. I've seen them off and on on various cars, sometimes only the drivers side has them, for some reason.

I have a GSL and I have never seen those badges. They look custom, and I am jealous!

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...eID=1691231326

thats the only GSL badge I have on mine.

The only one I recognize is the 1979-1980 emblem that sais Rotary Engine

the GSL badges are fom 81-83 GSL models and they were located on the b-pillar. they are metal badges and are no longer available to order through mazda. the "rotar engine badge was used on many rotary powered cars. on the 7 it was located left of the licence plate for the 79-80 model years. its originally silver, not red and it is still available. the "limited badge is from a 79 RX-7 Limited.

The Rotary Engine ones go on the front fender of SAs IIRC.

The one with the M in the rotor does look oldschool, ie: older than Rx7s

and I can confirm the GSL ones go on the B pillar.

no idea where the Limited one goes

Jon

The staggered GSL's go on the B-pillar between the door and rear quarter windows.
The Rotary Engine looks from a Repu but I have seen pics of SA's with that on the front fender aft the wheel where the RX7 badge is.
The m rotor badge looks like the one from RX3's... and the limited goes in the same place as the staggered silver GSL badges.

i would guess it to be done as a custom job. i know for sure that mazda never put a rotary engine badge on the fender of an rx-7.
