wheels on a gsl

I belive that I need a 17mm offset, is there any way of getting these wheels to fit, 14/6.5/0 offsetI was sold them by a fellow forum member said he had used them on a first gen, (couldnt have happened cause they were 4x108 untill i pressed new inserts into them now there the 4x110 that actuallty do bolt up) I put falken zeix 512 rubber on in a 205/60/14 size and the next issue is that I put them on and went for a drive and got a pretty bad rub on the first big bump that I hit so I have not used them since, could it be my old suspension causing this or is there just no way to run a 0 offset on my car.

First, where are they rubbing? Second, I prefer dealing with backspacing, which doesn't change with wheel width, as it does with offset.

If they are rubbing on the inside, you could try hub-centric wheels spacers. I dont know where to get them but I know from passing they are available. Otherwise I think you need to look elsewhere for wheels

rub is on the outside(I belive from the fit), wheels sit almost flush with the side of the car much further out than the stock. i belive it is about 3/4' further out than the stock wheels, how far out can the wheels typicaly sit.

On my 14X6 WEDS, they are a +15 offset. The problem with 0 offset is you can't do anything with them. If you had too much + offset, you could always space them out. With yours already being that far out, you are pretty much stuck with them. The only other choice would be to roll the fender lip under a little, and go with some fender flares.

AS I thought, how much space can I buy by rolling the fender lip? and how much damage does this cause to the car mine was just painted 2 years ago adn dont want to hurt the the paint.
