Pilot bearing removal assistance needed

ok so here is the thing. I am puting a 13b into my 85 base and the cluch was out on the 13b when i got it. The kid before me tryed to take out the bearing in the flyweel and only got some out. So i try to take the rest out and did not work. so i tryed grinding it out. Anyway do i have to grind the hole thing out.

depending on how badly its damaged, you could still go to autozone or your neighborhood autostore and rent a pilot bearing remover....makes things alot easier...just my two cents, thats what i did- it basically has three prongs that you expand/contract and the bearing slides over the end of it and you pull it out/ put it in....

thats what she said.....Office anyone? heres an incredible thread from the archives, thats got pictures of what you want to do, and dont forget the seal on the bearing...very important.
