wheels?

I went to talk to my brother who works at a tire distribution warehouse and his boss was looking up wheels for the 79 rx7 i just bought.He couldnt find anything.he said the offset was rare on these and i would have a hard time finding them.Anyone else have this problem of know where to get some nice wheels?

Yeah they are different at least I know the 1979 and 1980's are but you can find them. I found a few places on the web that have wheels that will fit. Most walk in type stores won't have them but can probably special other them. Be prepared to dish out the duckets for them. If you trust adaptors you can get some to make other patterns fit but make sure they built well.

Dude you have a Limited they already have Nice Rare wheels, Get them cleaned up and painted.

The bolt pattern is what is different. It is a 4-110. It is the same for all 1st gens except the gsl-se. You can do a gsl-se suspention swap and that will give you a much more common bolt pattern.

Thanks for the info..That is a great guide.I found some nice wheels doing a search for 129 each.Guess new wheels wont come cheap.I am going to try and clean up the wheels I have and see how they look..

Well,anyway..if you go to www.tirerack.com they have 1 wheel that has a
4-110mm setup..check it out its cool

yeah, thats the kosei k-1, I have a set on order. Not the best looking rim, but a lot better than stockers i think.
