how do you guys feel about a wheel like this.
16x7 40-45mm offset in SE bolt pattern weights 13lbs
they cost about 500 bucks shipped to your door.
Yes i realize they are honda wheels but they look decent
and function wise they are great.

The 5-spoke design is my favorite hands down. Got Photoshop or Corel PhotoPaint & put them on digitaly 1st. Post some photos w/ them on your car.

I like the SlipStreams b/c they look like the Spoon sw88's or whatever. They make them in a few different colors, so I would pick one that compliments your paint. I don't know where you found those, but modacar.com has them in the other colors. I like the flat black or bronze myself.

40-45mm offset? Isn't that a little more than what you would want? If I remember correctly, 25-35mm is where you want to be for the -se suspension. Someone chime in, I'm not in the searching mood.

the car im buying has 15" kosei k-1's on it. they are custom drilled for 114.3 pattern (gsl-se).

i bought brand new 17's for the car. (40mm offset btw should fit even with 17's) and may sell the kose k1's if someone offers me the right price!

the car is in california right now, and if you can supply me with ANYTHING so the vehicle can roll, i would do a better deal. (still gotta get it shipped here).

What is the bolt pattern for a 84 GSL? I want to step up from 13's. I want to get some 15" with 205/50/15's. Anyone got any this size on ther 1st gen? I want some really light race type rims. Please post a pic or link.
Thanx

Bolt pattern for an 84 gsl is 4x110mm. I have 15" tsw 5-spoke rims right now. Had to have them custom bored to fit...i dont suggest doing this, it was very expensive. If you want a wider selection of wheels, i suggest that you buy the 4x114.3mm adapters (gsl-se style).

You can buy rims with no bolt pattern or holes. Then take it to a shop for a probably large fee to get them fitted.

Nice wheels. I hate the over the top styles most vendors sell. Now a 3rd choice for me, next to the Pana's and K-1's

The adapters can be found on ebay. I got ine from a guy that has a username Adaptamerica on ebay. But there are others on there also.
They do effect the offset, but the extra width will allow you to run fwd offset rims.
If you get the adapters to convert your 4*110 to 4*100mm you can use any wheel that will fit a honda civic, plus miata rims will work if you want to keep it mazda.
Here is a couple pics of mine with the spacers and 15" rims
The first one is with a set of rotas that I got off ebay with a new set of Falken azenies mounted for $180

this one is with some ADR's that where $215 new off ebay.

Later
