Wheels for 12a
The best thing you could do for those rims is have someone sand blast them and then re-coat them in powdercoat......... In past experience ive never been able to get normal paint to stay on rims just because of what they are put through day in a day out. Primarly though brake dust is your biggest enemy.... If your looking for a free way to make them look better though clean them with carb cleaner or brake parts cleaner and scuff them up a little bit then use some high temp spray paint on them.... Take your time using light coats and that should hold up well. I did it on my calipers and they lasted up until i sold it. let me know what you decide........ But for the quality of the rim sandblasting and powdercoating will make them look new.. Theres places that specialize in that and do it relatively cheap but you have to send them off.
i dont quite understand how you get 108's on 110 studs... can someone explain this to me..
the way i would of thought. is maybe you can get two studs on the wheel.. but when you place the wheel so the other two fall into place.. 2mm of the wheel where the studs go in would contact the the stud.. well i guess if you forced her in it could work..
if forcing it in is how its done then i guess i answered my own question and understand excatly what peejay meant by the taper sorta.. wouldnt the shape of the once used to be a circle on your rims for the studs now be more of an oval shape... and whats shank type??

well i'm surprised no one has posted this link in this thread yet... its not 4 lug, but its an adapter from the 4x110 to the standard 5 lug... http://cpracing.ca/cgi-bin/online/storepro.php go to the mazda section, and scroll down a bit... they are 80 bux each, so 320 bux for a set of 4... i'll be buying some when i have positive cash flow again and my car actually runs... gonna be putting stock 88 TII rims on my 84 GSL
a buddy of mine was trying to tell me that there more for show.. i dont quite understand how theyd be more for show.. and he was saying there not as strong.. not as safe.. and so on.. i doubt that...
there perfectly safe right???
